 The members of the club work in their own shops all year long cutting, drilling, and sanding the toys. |
 Late each year the club dedicates one or more meetings to assembly of the axles and wheels in assembly line fashion. |
 The club provides axles and wheels which are purchased in large quantites to keep costs low. |
 Members bring mallets, glue, and the toy bodies and turn an otherwise mundate chore into a fun activity. |
 With so many mallets and mouths in action at once, the project is completed quickly. |
 At the end of the meeting we have bags upon bags of completed cars, trucks, buses, graders, and dozers. |
