Woodworkers of Whittier (WoW) was founded on the principle of service to our community and continues to place emphasis on that goal. For example, the annual WoW toy project benefits hundreds of children each year at Christmas time. Other club projects include cabinet making for community organizations that share our community service ideals.

Through our club meetings and workshops, WoW works to promote recreational woodworking. Club programs include, Members Helping Members, the club Lumberyard, and the monthly Pushstick newsletter. Programs such as these encourage sharing of skills, equipment, and materials between members.
